Legislative Wrap-Up from the Secular Coalition

From religious privilege to discrimination and everything between, the 2014 Legislative Session proved to be a busy one for our Secular Community. Tory Anderson is the lobbyist for the Secular Coalition for Arizona, and will be with us to share insider information about the bills, the politics, and a complete wrap-up of the issues important to the Secular Community from the legislative session.

Tory Anderson is the lobbyist for the Secular Coalition for Arizona. A former social worker, her career in the political arena began in 2005 when she was hired as a budget analyst for Governor Janet Napolitano. A regular face at the Arizona State Legislature, she advocates for issues close to her heart. An active atheist, Tory believes in the work of the Secular Coalition for Arizona and considers it an honor to be the voice for the Secular Community. She holds a Masters in Public Administration from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science in Family Studies from the University of Arizona. She lives in Goodyear with her husband and two children Audrey (8) and Kai (4). She volunteers with Girl Scouts AZ as a Brownie Troop leader and with the school Parent-Teacher Organization. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and triathlons.
