What is your experience with hand-drawn 2-D hypershort animation ?

Been creating characters and want to explore motion graphics, animation. I illustrate, haven't yet created animation. I want to learn more.

What do you think of the potential of the genre?

Animated shorts already have an incredible ability to communicate, entertain, educated. The unique look and feel of it, whether hand drawn or slick digital, will totally be sought out as alternative to traditional live action. The genre of animation will continue to expand and have unlimited possibilities for visual magic and story telling.

Would you do more hypershort animation if the hard and software made it faster and easier to make?

I'm a newbie so I can't answer this yet.

What soft or hardware do you use to make short animation?

Haven't made any up yet. Have MAYA and After Effects on my Hp computer to play with and learn.

What question would you like to be asked or ask others?

Not sure if tech skills up to par, but would love to help in any way to work on animated short. Not really sure what is meant by 'hyper-short' though?? Please explain what you mean.
