DISCONNECT

Plot> A hard-working lawyer, attached to his cell phone, can't find the time to communicate with his family. A couple is drawn into a dangerous situation when their secrets are exposed online. A widowed ex-cop struggles to raise a mischievous son who cyber-bullies a classmate. An ambitious journalist sees a career-making story in a teen that performs on an adult-only site. They are strangers, neighbors and colleagues and their stories collide in this riveting dramatic thriller about ordinary people struggling to connect in today's wired world.    This looks like a good one. After the movie we'll go nearby for a snack and a chat. Hope you'll join us.

Still thinking about the movie, even this morning. So much of it was provoking, if not disturbing. It was taken out of today's news! Very good! Panera's was even better than usual. Lots of laughs! Congrats Lee and Loren on Boardwalk's fifth anniversary.

I enjoyed the movie a lot. Cyber Bullying and Identity theft is a growing problem, and they were treated in an interesting manner. Had good conversation at Pinera's. Have fun on your walk.

OK, so the five stars are for the fun we all had after the movie at Panera Bread but as far as the movie goes I would give it 2 1/2 stars. It started off slow and it jumped around a bit but in the end everything came together and so overall I enjoyed the movie. I would say that if you haven't seen it yet that you should wait until you can rent it at Redbox for $1.25. On a side note, I feel bad for Lee because Loren keeps pushing him down. Lee is now better know as Second Page Lee ( SPL ) and I have a feeling after Loren has read this review I too will become something very similar ( SPR ). However, on a more positive note, the BIG 05 is just around the corner and it should be an excellent day for the big walk on the north shore. WOOHOO!!!!!

I never push anyone down and my goal is to move people forward and up. I don't want our organizer, Lee to be put to the second page. Great review Rich. See you tomorrow and don't forget to signal me with the wave!!!!!

This movie kept my interest and the acting was very good. Jason Bateman played a great part . We had alot of fun at Panera's and we still did not hear Loren's speech. I hope all of you have a great day tomorrow. You too Lee!!!

You would have heard my speech but I was so rudely interrupted, LOL!!!!! Only kidding, Rich. You were funny. Maybe we will record it Pat but your spirit will be with us today at Caumsette for our 5th year anniversary of Boardwalk.

The movie was excellent. I too thought the beginning of the movie was slow and all these different stories were all over the place and not making any sense. I DID NOT FALL ASLEEP THE WHOLE MOVE. I then saw how the stories intertwined with each other and it became very serious and sensitive that it had some sad parts to it. Towards the end, it made a lot of sense. The best part of the night was being with everyone at Panera Bread. We had a very large crowd and it was great but I was so worried that everyone wouldn't have a seat but we all managed to be together at the same table and have lots of laughs and good conversations. It was very nice meeting Sharon and Leslie to our group and I hope they had a good time with us too their first meetup. I was trying to make a speech about our wonderful 5 years being part of the walking group and how we couldn't have gone on without our organizer, Lee.

Amazing film ! Jason Bateman gives one of the best dramatic performances of his career. One must be careful - all these conflicts are initiated thru laptops, iPads and cellphones.

A little slow in the beginning, but got more interesting and exciting as the movie went on. Panera was a lot of fun as usual. Enjoyed being with everyone.

Carol, please make sure I stay awake because I like Jason Bateman too and looking at the trailer, it looks good. I would like to be awake when everyone is talking about the movie. See you on Saturday, Carol.
