This film has been around since November and is still going strong. It's received many awards and it's in the running  for an Oscar. The movie starts at 6:40pm

Plot> After receiving a sweepstakes letter in the mail, a cantankerous father (Bruce Dern) thinks he's struck it rich, and wrangles his son (Will Forte)) into taking a road trip to claim the fortune. Shot in black and white across four states, 'Nebraska' tells the stories of family life in the heartland of America.

After the movie we'll go down the road for a chat and a snack. Hope you'll join us.---Lee

Hadn't seen Bruce Dern in quite a while. Looks like he was saving up his talent for this understated, stellar performance. Will Forte's character made his Dad's dreams come true and gave him back his dignity. They don't make movies like this every day. Entertaining and memorable!

This was a very heartwarming movie and very well acted. It showed how people hide their real feelings when in truth they cared very much for one another. I know I missed a good time at Paneras.

Excellent movie and I loved it. The acting was surpurb. I loved the relationship between the son and the father by the son following his dad's dream or fantasy of winning a million dollars in which was a hoax. It was great how his son took his father to his old stumping grounds of his childhood and the relationships he had with his ex girlfriend and friends from the small town where he grew up. I stayed awake the whole entire movie and not a blink of an eye away from the screen. It was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. I loved the son's mother and wow she had guts and tough old lady. Beautiful scenery and in black and white. It was seeing this movie with the group and it was talking about it at Panera Bread. A definite must see movie. This movie had some funny parts, and very touching parts so over all, a great movie.

The company is always great, too, at panera. Glad to see everyone.

I went to Kansas City a couple of years ago, and it looked just about like the town in the movie, like a sort of shadow of a place that used to be.

I do hope you get to see it soon because I don't know how long it is going to stay in theaters but it was such a great movie, I wouldn't be surprised if it stuck around for a while. There was nothing in this movie that you couldn't love about it. See you soon.

Well done. Will Forte probably doesn't get enough credit for his acting in this film.

Funny & sad with an emphasis on funny. Life is always easier when we can see the lighter side and accept our humanness. What great acting! Hope this gets an Oscar.

The bad weather we had last Saturday night made it very slippery on the roads so everyone canceled out going. It was great that Nebraska stayed in the theater so Lee can postpone this movie to this Saturday night. Have fun in Florida!!!!!! See you when you come home.
