It's time for an "epic", we haven't seen one in quite  awhile. Russell Crowe stars in this new version of the great flood.

Plot> I think we all know the plot. Starring: Russell Crowe , Jennifer Connelly , Anthony Hopkins , Emma Watson , Logan Lerman

Russell Crowe looked pretty good for 600. I understand six hundred is the new 400!

Wonderful effects. I thought Russell Crowe and Anthony Hopkins were great. FYI: I read the story in the Bible this morning and there were supernatural creatures mentioned. Noah, his wife and their three sons and their wives (!) were on the ark. According to the Bible, their descendants populated the earth. And -- Noah was 600 years old when he was asked to build the ark and save the creatures to repopulate the earth. Wow. For anyone interested: Genesis, Chapters 5 through 10. And Carol - I was wrong - Sodom and Gomorrah was later (Genesis Chapter 18, verse 16, etc.)
    Great to see everyone!

What was Noah's secret of a very long life? Was there much stress back then? May we all live to 600 years old.

According to the Bible Noah died when he was 905!! His grandfather Methusalah was 1000! [I've been told more than once that God's time isn't our time. :)]

Good movie. Enjoyed the good company after the movie at Paneras'. If anyone is interested, here is an article from Slate about the Watchers & other things about the book vs the movie - http://www.slate.com/blogs/browbeat/2014/03/28/noah_movie_biblical_accuracy_how_the_darren_aronofsky

This was always a favorite biblical story of mine. Russell Crowe did an amazing job. Very believable. Effects were great. Sure was some ark they built.

Good movie. The special effects were great and it was a fast paced movie and definitely kept my interest from the beginning to the end. Acting was great. It was great being with everyone at the movies and Panera Bread.

Sorry to cancel the movie due to the weather. If the rain lets up I will come to the snack and chat. Enjoy the movie. It really looks good!

If I did, I don't know why. As I said, I knew I could never go, so I don't remember even answering. But, stranger things have happened.

That is true Sharon, I have seen stranger things have happened. Computer glitches happen all the time. Have a good time wherever you are going.
