The time has come for restoration of the Republican party. It's early history borne from abolishing slavery to constraining the size of government has been not only tarnished, but hijacked. Time to reclaim what was stolen from us. This is THE meeting for Republican activists. Most of the time 50 or so people show up. We can easily overwhelm them with an inspiring message.

If you are ready to fight the good fight, come on along. If you would prefer to sit at home and just complain, know that you are wasting your time and ours. That's right. I'm calling everyone out. We call ourselves a rEVOLution, but too many of us are not willing to give even one hour a month to the cause.

Meetings usually run a little over an hour. Dress is very casual. I normally wear a shirt with a collar and slacks. You can come as you are and will NOT be treated rudely. The local party regulars have been favorably impressed by our presence in previous months.

The real goal of attending these meetings is to gain voting status. This happens when you come to 2 successive meetings. Then commit to coming to once a month meetings. Once this happens we can affect real change. If we ever want to return Constitutional government to the USA, I can think of no finer place to start.

Every month (the 2nd thursday of every month), Sanford hosts
what's called 'Alive After 5'. They close down 1st street downtown @
5pm & 1,000s of people show up. There were 3-5,000
people there last month. It's booming!

Citrus Bowl Sign Wave ***AND*** Ron Paul Blimp

Florida vs. Michigan
2008 is going to be a Ron Paul Year! Let's start it off right.

70,000+ screaming fans all passing by 1 of 4 corners and we will have all 4 corners covered.

The Ron Paul Blimp will be there. It did not receive clearance, so the blimp will have to move to 3 miles away at noon and can't return until 1 hour after the game.

Michigan will hold their primary Jan. 15 and Florida will hold their primary Jan. 29th.
The local Meetup group in Michigan has held a sign wave at every home game for Michigan this year. Just imagine their reaction after they travel 1100 miles south from a season's worth of Ron Paul sign waves, only to arrive in Florida for a massive Ron Paul sign wave... and a Ron Paul Blimp!! They will get the message that Ron Paul is EVERYWHERE.
Let's make them feel right at home!

The sign wave will start at 10 AM and run until 5 PM.
During the game we will take a break and shuttle back downtown to rest and eat and then head back to the Citrus Bowl for when everyone leaves the game.

Please do not feel you have to stay the entire time. You can come for just the pre game wave or the post game wave. You can stay for as long or as little time as you want.
We appreciate any support you can provide.

Tentatively, the Blimp will be over Lake Eola, in downtown Orlando, for some undetermined time during the game. Sorry for the vagueness but the plans have not firmed up yet.

I will deliver all the signs and slim jims to the corner captains before 10 AM, so you shouldn't need anything except your liberty loving self.

Parking - Parking is sold out around the Citrus Bowl and is by permit only. Shuttles are available from two nearby parking lots. One downtown (Amway Arena) and one at the Fairgrounds (West of the Citrus Bowl).
The shuttle is free but it is $5 to park.
