FCCP Membership is free and open to everyone.  All of our numerous activities are free, except for the classes, workshops, online classes, mini workshops and email courses.  So, why join an organization and pay a membership fee when almost all the activities are free? That's a great question, and here's some great answers!

First off, we value our staff of educators.  They are professionals and each of them have worked in photography related occupations for decades.  Jeff has taught photography at Montana State University, Dunedin Fine Art Center, Ritz Camera Centers Inc and taught workshops in over 20 states and internationally.  Our other instructors each bring their own unique set of qualifications to their role as instructors and make up one of the finest photography teaching staffs in the Greater Tampa Bay.

Our instructors deserve to be paid for their skill and expertise and that is why we charge for our educational offerings.  Our classes and workshops are offered in professional classroom spaces and we have to pay a fee to rent these facilities.  But first rate classes aid the educational process, with industry leading Powerpoint presentations and state of the art projectors and teaching aids.  We also add extras that most workshops charge extra for.  Each of our workshops comes with a FREE CD/DVD that includes class notes, reference material, additional reading and much more.

So, why pay to join FCCP?  The optional Supporter Membership fees come with enhanced benefits.  These benefits include the following:

* Free dSLR camera sensor cleaning (unlimited) for a year.  Local camera stores and camera service centers charge $50 to $100 for just 1 cleaning.

* Free external cleaning (one per year) of all your camera bodies, lenses and filters.  Camera stores and camera service centers charge $25 to $75 for a cleaning.

* Two free In-the-Field Mini Workshops.  There are over a dozen topics to choose from and they range from 3 to 5 hours.  These have a retail value of $29 to $39 each.

* Free $25 Gift Card (no strings attached, can even be used for shipping) from Nations Photo Lab.  NPL is one of leading photo labs in the county and they offer everything from canvas to metallic paper to metal prints and much, much more.  Please check them out at the above link.

* Membership Discounts on ALL classes and workshops

It's easy to see that the added benefits of FCCP Supporter Membership pays dividends beyond the $50 annual fee.  We even have discounts for Families, Seniors, Military, Students and Disabled.

But here is the catch, in order to get the FREE $25 NPL Gift Card, you must sign up ASAP, so that we can order the correct number from NPL.  We expect to start the distribution at our August Monthly Meeting on Thursday, August 8.

My apologies, it wasn't a groupon. It was through FCCP directly and paid to your Paypal account. I'll bring my receipt to class tomorrow. I had asked you about it by email several months ago, but haven't done any classes until now. I did buy a groupon last summer as well that I am using tomorrow.

Jeff, I paid my dues in June and it has not been shown in my profile. I have not received my NPL card either. This is my second request to have my membership updated.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
