FCCP Thursday Morning Photowalk to Philippe Park

Every other Monday morning we will meet at a local park to explore our "wild" side. Wear comfortable walking shoes. The trips will not be strenuous but may involve walking distances of one to two miles. Today we are going to explore Philippe Park in Safety Harbor. Tides will be fairly low, but rising. Shorebirds and waders are common under these conditions. I've often seen Bald Eagles in the area as well. We'll meet at the very back parking lot at the end of the Dead End Circle.

You can read more about Philippe Park at the County site.  Be sure to bring you cell phone and call me if you're lost etc.

Happy I ran into Tim and Mark. Thanks for completing the walk with me guys. After you left, I found the little bridge and the wading birds. Thank you! It wasn't breezy over there, as you said, and it was not too bad, a few pinches and I left before the noseeums got me too.
