FREE Lightroom Study Group

What better way to learn and improve your Lightroom skills than in a relaxed atmosphere.  This is an informal meeting, so bring your questions, bring you notebook, and most importantly bring your enthusiasm.  All skill levels are welcome.

This is not a formal class, there will not be handouts, DVDs with tutorials, or assignments.  There will be lots of learning and laughter.  Experienced members will be on hand to answer questions, share tips & tricks and more.  Since this is informal feel free to come late and leave early if necessary.  There is free parking behind Tony's (off Laura St.) and a rear entrance to the restaurant.  Street parking is free after 6 PM.

The group will meet every other Monday night.  The limit is 20 people due to seating limitation.  If demand warrants it, we can increase the frequency and variety of study groups.

Another great learning experience. I learn something new at each one of these meetings. Thank you to Jeff and Mike Hoffman for your help! I would not be any where with Lightroom if it wasn't for the help I have been getting

Like Sharon said, this was another great learning experience. Jeff discussed the use of the Gradient Filter and the Adjustment Brush. I never knew these features were even available, let alone how valuable they can be. He also spent time differentiating between "Clarity" and "Sharpness". I can actually understand the difference, now.

Jeff explains this stuff in a way that makes it easy to take notes, and also understand it.

Mike Hoffman provided additional insights to help us.

Joe, Jeff hosts a Lightroom study group every other Monday, so the next will be on the 22nd. Jeff & Jack host an Elements/Photoshop study group on the Mondays between. Bring your questions and Jeff or another experienced user will let you know what they do.

A few weeks before summer vacation started, I wrote in my notes that school was going to start again on Sep 15th, but I just found out it starts on Sep 8th, so I had to cancel. I'll really miss learning Lightroom and Elements with the group.
