Are you interested in a trip to shoot the Northern Lights?

The aurora borealis is one of the most spectacular natural phenomena on earth. The best locations in North America for viewing are Fairbanks, AK and Yellowknife, Canada. You need to have patience and be willing to shoot at night in the cold for some of the most AWESOME images you will ever take in your life. There will be other winter subjects to shoot during the day, as there can be no guarantee the aurora will appear. Fairbanks hosts an international ice sculpture exhibit that is lit at night, has sled dog races and beautiful landscapes. To shoot the lights you will need a tripod, camera, wide angle lens and an adventurous spirit. There could be deep snow and some ice but not a lot of walking. Please vote on the choices if you are interested.
