Winter is a great time to hike in Florida. This will be the 20th year that this mid-week hiking group has gone out each Wednesday in January, February & March to participate in a 7-9 mile day hike. This year the hikes will cover the FNST in the Ocala National Forest. The plan is to hike the Eastern Corridor trail from Rodman Reservoir to Clearwater Lake. Hikers will also explore some side trails, springs, sinkholes & the Western Corridor trail. Some camping & paddle trips will be added to the series this year. Mark your calendars and clear your schedule on Wednesdays so you can join the group and “HIKE THE FOREST!”

OCALA NATIONAL FOREST FNST -WESTERN CORRIDOR - HIKE 3: Hike from the FR11-Kerr Curve access to the FR 01-Mud Lake access - 8.8 miles. Meet at 9:00 AM at the FR 01-Mud Lake access.  Purchase FTA maps 19, 20 & 25.
