flying, walking, biking ("recumbent-style" when I can afford one), fishing, sightseeing, trimming trees, making wood products for landscape architecture and utility functions, environmental reclamation, learning about and implementing renewable energy technology.
I am a Christian, veteran (Coast Guard) and woodcrafter; entering "retirement age" lacking wealth (of currency) but endowed with wealth of spirit Still working to keep fit and active, I enjoy fellowship that helps negotiate this sojourn through life.
Does it contribute anything to say that I perceive this group "...to be comprised of some pretty, down-to-earth people"? No?...well, how about: "...on my first outing with them I picked up a tick and didn't discover it for a couple of days. Now I fear that they are trying to feed me to the wildlife". No help there either?...Ok, you win...I'll 'fess-up. They are simply real people trying to enjoy some real pleasures in this real world of some really bad things going on and I really, really enjoy spending time with them. So alright already, are you happy now?!...HMMMM? Oh, yeah...and I'm looking forward to pitching in and helping take care of the trails and other things needing building and construction skills; but first I've got to find a job of some sort so I can afford to donate my time. Life always seems to present these little challenges (...and what I consider to be "nuisances" fallen across the path toward enjoyment of life. Best Regards to all.
