Buzz, the Sand Pond recreation area is about 3 miles south of Hyw 20 on the west side of hwy 79. Heading North, you will go over the bridge that the Florida Trail goes under. You will see a FT sign on the bridge. After the bridge, start looking right for the small sign and entrance to the recreation area.
