GET OUT OF TOWN! This will be great! Thanks for the info. I'll be there for as many events I can attend. I adore this little stringed instrument! Thanks, Ty!  And kudos to Armondo for his lovely hospitality.

Aloha Stringbusters,

We have three exciting events lined up for us!  It must be getting cold up north.....some awesome Ukulele musicians are heading to our area.  Don't miss out - these will all be great:

Fri Nov 9th, 7pm at Penny Lane  - Jim Beloff

Jim Beloff, the founder of Flea Market Music, and author The Daily Ukulele and of the popular Jumpin' Jim's series of ukulele songbooks, will be joining us for a Meet Up!  Jim has a new Daily Ukulele Songbook he just released, with 365 more great tunes to play on the Uke.  Come meet Jim, strum along, get some new books (signed!).  Jim is requesting a head count of those interested in getting this new songbook - he wants to bring plenty for all interested.  Jim will be at the Tampa Uke Fest Nov 2nd - 4th, and will head to the the east coast afterward.  He has a supply of the new books for the Tampa event, but would like to bring enough for our Ukesters......please email me ([address removed]) or text me at (305)[masked] soon if you are interested in getting a copy on the 9th.  You can check out Jim Beloff and his books on his website - www.fleamarketmusic.com <http://www.fleamarketmusic.com> .

Thur Jan 10th First MeetUp in[masked]pm at Penny Lane - Lil' Rev

Lil' Rev is joining us for for another awesome workshop and concert. This is his third visit with us.  Lil Rev is an award-winning multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and music-historian who teaches and tours nationally, around the continental U.S. Go visit his website: http://www.lilrev.com.  He was featured in the Mighty Uke video - his workshops are entertaining, informative and inspiring.  Cost for the workshop OR the Concert is $20.....attend BOTH the workshop AND the concert for only $25.

Fri Jan 18th at Penny Lane - Fred Sokolow

Fred Sokolow is a multi-instrumentalist and author of a library of instructional books and DVDs for ukulele, banjo, guitar, mandolin, lap steel, and Dobro. He is especially proud of his successful collaboration with Jim Beloff, Fretboard Roadmaps - Ukulele. Fred will conduct a Blues Workshop and a concert.  Cost for the workshop OR the Concert is $20.....attend BOTH the workshop AND the concert for only $25.  You can learn more about Fred Sokolow at his website: www.sokolowmusic.com <http://www.sokolowmusic.com> .

So mark your calendar, November 9th with Jim Beloff, January 10th with Lil Rev and January 18th with Fred Sokolow. These meet-ups will be held at Penny Lane. Thank you Armondo. Let us join together and support these artists. Lets show them the hospitality of Florida so that when they go home they might write a song about us. :)

Head count....head count.....head count for Jim Beloff (for the books), and for the others as well. asap please.

Thank you and keep strummin',

Ty
