4th Annual Tampa Bay Veg Fest

Mark your calendar! Florida Voices for Animals presents the 4th annual Tampa Bay Veg Fest which will take place on Saturday October 19th at beautiful Cotanchobee Fort Brooke Park on the Hillsborough River in downtown Tampa. This popular free event is attended by thousands of people. As in the past, we will have restaurant vendors with delicious plant-based foods available for purchase, free food samples courtesy of vegan food companies, a great kids' area, live music, companion animals available for adoption, cooking demonstrations, entertaining and educational films and speakers, dozens of fabulous exhibitors and so much more! We are thrilled that our keynote speaker this year will be Jane Velez-Mitchell, award-winning television journalist, best-selling author and amazing animal advocate.

This is an event you won't want to miss. Tell your friends and family and mark your calendar. Our website will be continually updated so check back often for updates. http://www.tampabayvegfest.org/index.html

This year's VegFest will feature AMAZING world music--Hindu classical vocals by Lavanya Dinesh, Bollywood dancers, deeply moving love songs from Old Mexico by Lily Cortes (backed up by a Mariachi band), exquisite New Age world music by Catherine Costa and the Red-Tailed Project, the powerful new Irish sound of 3 Pint Harmony, Turkish classical cellist Gonca Huff, and one of the best young American singer-songwriters, Ella Jet.  Don't miss it!

And, best of all, this wonderful event IS FREE!!! Come. Bring the Kids. Pets on leashes are welcome (of course)!

Best Veg Fest in the West Coast! Lots of people looking for info to get better health and save the planet at the same time.

Outstanding! The event was amazing with about 5,000 people in attendance. Lots of delicious free vegan food samples (very popular with attendees -- thanks, Joan, for coordinating this!), a fun Children's Area with lots of activities (thanks, Colleen and Susannah, and Colleen and other volunteers for the face painting), incredible nationally-known speakers, fantastic films, delicious plant-based food, live music and so much more! It was great to meet Spunky the pig at Darlynn's Darlins booth. Thanks to all the volunteers who made it a success!

Great turnout, and what nice people visited the FVA table! The heat was murder, though. Silly October!

Is there a schedule of the shifts for volunteers for the day? I signed up for a shift and forgot to write down the time. Who do I contact about that?

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
