Details

Unique Carriers is responsible for transporting primates to laboratories which experiment on these sentient beings just because they're our closest relatives. These labs come up with the more horrendous experiments which torture, maim and eventually kill the primates. A classic example is Britches (http://www.britches.org.uk/story.asp), a stump-tailed macaque monkey who was born into a breeding colony at the University of California, Riverside in March 1985. He was removed from his mother at birth and had his eyelids sewn shut as part of a three-year maternal and sensory-deprivation study involving 24 infant monkeys. The study was conducted by David H. Warren

Join Florida Voices for Animals (http://www.floridavoicesforanimals.org), Silverback Peace Group (http://www.silverbackpeacegroup.com/index.html), Animal Rights Foundation of Florida (http://www.animalrightsflorida.org/) and Take Your Blinders Off (http://takeyourblindersoff.blogspot.com/) in this important protest.

Note that this location is at the home of Caren M Harvey and Paul W Harvey which is in a cul-de-sac. At the demos we've held before, the police have always been cordial, friendly and were there to make sure nothing got out of hand. You can park at the elementary school close to the intersection of Durant Rd & Parkwood Dr.

Unique Carriers, by virtue of this transport, contributes to the torture and death of these sentient beings. Please join us as we make the Harveys, their neighbors and the world aware of the suffering and death of these primates.

We encourage the Harveys to consider dropping the transport of primates since this may not be their main source of revenue.
