Florida Voices for Animals was incorporated in 1989 so 2014 is the 25th anniversary of FVA! Come celebrate with us at our annual Have A Heart dinner. Our keynote speaker this year will be George Eisman.
George Eisman, Director of Nutrition for The Coalition for Cancer Prevention based in New York, has been a registered dietitian for over 30 years.
He has taught nutrition at Florida State University, Miami-Dade Community College, and Broward Community College, and guest lectures frequently at Cornell University.
He is the author of three books: Food Choices and Cancer: How Your Diet Affects Risk; A Basic Course in Vegetarian and Vegan Nutrition; and The Most Noble Diet.
Mr. Eisman has worked as a dietitian at Miami Children's Hospital and Wesley Woods Nursing Home in Atlanta, and served as a public health nutritionist for the state health departments of Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina.

In addition to our wonderful speaker, we will have a delicious all-vegan buffet, silent auction with fabulous items to bid on, raffles and award presentations.
We'll be recognizing key persons involved in saving Phoebe, the pit bull who was buried up to her neck and shot.
