Tampa Bay has many stores that sell dogs. People are still buying puppies from them instead of going to our local humane societies and adopting. Plus now with Christmas coming puppies will be given as gifts. Education is sometimes all that the public needs. Come join us as we hold signs and pass out fliers to educate others on the cruelties of puppy mills and encourage them to adopt, not shop. Lets all wear red and be the voice for the voiceless. We will be there from 1 pm to 3 pm. Tell your friends and have them join us. There is limited parking in the vicinity. Do not park in the strip mall where the pet store is located. The sign in front of the store reads "Puppies Puppies Puppies" and is located in a small strip mall between the Hertz and Western Wear stores on the east side of the street.

There is no need to notify the police in advance. We have done this particular demo several times. We are on public property (public sidewalk in front of business). The business has called the sherrif's office a few times in the past. The deputies who have stopped by have all been polite and professional and when they realize we are doing everything legally, simply leave. Be sure to not walk or park on their private property (parking lot.)

I was at a greyhound race demo once, and the police were notified ahead of time, for safety. Being as this is a protest against a business, has anyone notified the police yet? I'm coming from Winter Haven.

We will have signs. They are home made so if you could make you own also that would be great. But we will also have them there.
