Have you ever performed music in front of an audience (not counting Karaoke or social jams)?

yes.I think the largest was 10,000 when I sang with The Highwaymen on the same bill as Tennesee Ernie Ford.

All enthusiastic participants are welcome, but we need harmonica, banjo, mandolin, hammered dulcimer, concertina, accordian and other keyboards, upright bass, wind instruments, etc. Would you be willing to play any of these at our gatherings?

I play a little guitar (classical, so It is usually drowned out next to the steel strings. That's why, most of the time I played tambourine with The Highwaymen.

Who's your #1 favorite folk or folk-rock performer?

Joan Baez, Judy Collins, Richie Havens, The Weavers, Pete Seeger, Theodore Bikel

What are some of your favorite folk or folk-rock songs?

Two Brothers, Kisses Sweeter than Wine, Gypsy Rover, What Have They Done to the Rain?

Word is out about our group on Meetup, the Broward Folk Club, various local papers, Gotfolk.com, Facebook, Craigslist, the church, and flyers around town. How did you hear about us?

Introduction

Hi- I've been a singer most of my life. For many years, I had an acting career (movies, TV and stage) and in-between I was a cantor for close to 9 years, and I sang with The Highwaymen in the 60s (it seems like yesterday).
