Sunset Skyline Wine & Dine

  • October 26, 2012 · 6:30 PM

Join sommelier/wine blogger Kristen Siebecker and chef/food journalist   Matthew Wexler for an intimate sunset gathering to taste exquisite wines and sample four courses of recipes from the forthcoming food memoir and cookbook Uncommonly Good.

Wines exclusively from the Pays d’Oc IGP will be featured (What’s that? … Attend to find out!)

• Laurent Miquel, Nord sud, Viognier, 2011
• Domaine de l'Engarran La Lionne, Sauvignon, 2011
• Domaine Ricardelle Alencades, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Marselan, 2009
• Domaine Gayda Figure libre Freestyle, Syrah Grenache Mourvèdre Carignan Cabernet Sauvignon, 2010

Tastings will be served in a casual environment and reflect the international flavor profiles and farm-to-table cuisine of the boutique retreat center Good Commons. Due to the nature of this tasting, no dietary modifications can be made, but the menu will be gluten-free.

*Location is a private residence in Midtown East. Exact address will be given upon payment. For those with pet allergies, please note that a small dog will be present.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
