Amuse Bouche and in Vino Veritas - home again

Ok Foodies,

Lots of travel the last couple of months so, we are going to open the house for a tasting again. 8 Foodies last time, let's try for 180 this time. NO LIMIT to attendees. The first 60 will find chairs, the next 60 will have plenty of standing room, the last 60 will probably have the most fun.

The idea is to have a large number of Foodies volunteer to bring their favorite  Amuse Bouche and everyone else to bring a bottle or two of interesting wine. Very small bites and very small wine glasses because we are tasting and learning. I have never been intoxicated when using a small glass, of course I probably stopped before 180 glasses. Better have a taxi service standing by...

No need for chicken feet, frog legs or eel this time, just your favorite small bite which you are will to bring in quantity and post the receipe.

Bring your camera or cell phone to capture the receipes and wine labels.

I am thinking late August? What do you think Foodies? Week day, week end, afternoon, evening?

    Hi Fellow Foodies!
    A few notes for Saturady night:
    Any of the 3 Cheval gates will let you in to the Gentry House Party;
    Parking is tight so watch for a "helper" giving directions and please leave a lane open on the driveway as there are a lot of spaces behind the house;
    We will have individual plates, forks, napkins and small glasses to sample the wines;
    Each person will take a turn at one of 10 food stations to hand out your A-B and vino to the other 40 no 45 no 50 Foodies. When your food is gone someone else will take your place and pass out theirs;
    Please just sample so everyone gets a chance. 40 or 50 bites is a lot of food and 40 or 50 little glasses of wine is too much;
    Please bring your own a name tag!!!!!
    Ask the Foodie serving how to make their dish... we should only have 4 or 5 people at each station at one time so meet each other;
    Three bathrooms are to the right of the entry foyer;
    Chef Bryce is coming from St Thomas so be sure to say hi;
