The original Ceviche Tapas Bar and Restaurant in Tampa opened in 1997. This unique Spanish Tapas Restaurant was voted 'Top Twenty New Restaurants in Florida' by Florida Trend Magazine.
The Ceviche menu offers over 100 different hot and cold tapas, as well as paellas and cazuelas. Most of the tapas recipes are from Northern Spain and Catalan. Many of the products are imported directly to the restaurant to maintain the authenticity of the dishes.
We will enjoy a selection of seven, plus dessert.
I've met with Antonio, the Spanish-born Head Chef for all Ceviche locations, and he will be our host. We will have a private dining area, still in earshot of live music. The Chef will tell us about the preparation and origins of our courses. A fabulous waiter, Ervis, will head the service for our group.
Our set menu includes several tapas, sangrias, dessert, and coffee/espresso/tea. There will be a cash bar during "cocktail hour" and afterward. $45 prix fixe. Cash is appreciated to simplify matters.
