Hi Fellow Foodies,
I would like to clarify our signup policy to avoid confusion or concern. Our Number One goal is to encourage participation. Sign up if you are interested and try to keep us updated on your status.
However, we have three types of events.
1. Those events where paid attendance figures are critical we will have a prepay requirement, either to the facility as in the upcoming Aprons event or through my PayPal account as we have in the past. We will have a wait list and a cutoff for payment deadline to allow waiting Foodies to participate.
2. Those events where a limited space is available we will ask that you update you attendance but we will also follow the airline formula and slightly overbook. We will have a wait list and if the list is 3 or less you can count on coming.
3. Those events where it is nice to know how many will show but not critical and we will set no limit on the attendees.
SIGN UP IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ANY OF THESE EVENTS... PARTICIPATION IS OUR PRIMARY GOAL. Everyone has last minute issues so we will deal with that.
I will be much better at requiring prepayment for number 1 events. The Tapas event and the past Villaggios event should have been done this way and I apologize to all of you especially Jona and Bea, who suffered the most for my mistake.
