Dancing in the Streets....of A2

Before celebrating Diane, come celebrate A2's dance scene! This is an annual free festival on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend in downtown Ann Arbor. It offers local residents a chance to sample lots of different music and dance traditions and enjoy the downtown w/ friends and neighbors in the process. Just come to Main St.!

If you've ever wanted to try swing, Latin or (Intn'l) folk dancing, now's your chance! Demos will be performed too! Multiple stages offer visitors a chance to try many different styles of dancing, as well as enjoy mini-concerts and entertain their children with special activities.

Some of us are dancers so grab a partner! :)

I got sick this week, and it does not look like it will be getting better by tomorrow, so I will not be able to attend. I hope everyone has fun!

Running late. Where will you be around 2? At 3pm, I'll be at the West Washington Stage to watch my friend Alex Belhaj perform.

Parking is free on Sunday, and it's usually pretty plentiful. The Ann/Ashley structure will probably have spots open, or 4th/Washington.
