Happy Hour + Burger @Slaters 50/50 in Pasadena

Primarily located in Huntington Beach,Slater’s 5050 is now opened up an additional location in Pasadena. Slater's 5050 is well known for being the home of the “50/50 patty,” a burger made up of equal parts ground beef and ground bacon. However, this attention-getting patty merely scratches the surface of the near-hedonistic delights that are offered. For starters, the selection of 100-plus beers is dominated by an eclectic band of craft brews ranging from IPAs to stouts, and Slater’s offers beer cocktails, too.

Appetizers include the garlic, cheese and artichoke “vampire dip”, which makes a nice topping for a build-your-own burger. Sweet potato fries served with a rich pumpkin sauce. You can construct a burger from eight different patties and 70 different toppings that run the gamut from anchovies to Thai chili sauce, the menu’s predetermined options are worth considering. Most notable among them is the oddly appealing peanut butter and jelly burger with thick-cut bacon. And as one may suspect, bacon even makes its way onto the dessert menu in the form of the chocolate bacon brownie à la mode.

Lots of jokes/laughs (w/Billy around...) acquainted with b-tween new faces (Jeff, Kenny, & John) & loyal members (Billy, Jen, Koti, Karsten, Kim, and Edwin)
Services is indeed hit n miss; burgers are decent yet not over the top... We had fun ourselves!

Although its been my experience that their service is hit/miss, I really like their burgers.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
