Join us for a delicious 5-course prix fixe menu dinner on this Saturday at Allumette, Echo Park. Allumette is highly recommended by one of our very own and true foodie. This is what Steve M (Foodie) Moyer has to say about this place:
“Allumette is closing. It’s a sad day. Even with Bon Appetit Top 50, LA Mag 10 Best, and Gold 101 distinctions, an out of the way Echo Park location did them in. This is a great opportunity to see what Chef Miles Thompson can put on a plate (5x) for way less than it will cost when he next pops up. Dinners here are prix fix and we will be doing the 5-course (two choices per course) for $60. It’s a steal. Wine pairings are available, but the wine list is also reasonable.”
Let's take advantage of this special event for the last time before we say “sayonara” to Allumette.
I've booked a 2nd table (of six) for Saturday, 6/14 at 6:30 PM for dinner.
I’ve listed some items from their Dinner Menu: (items subject to change)
• Alaskan Halibut (Field herbs – Burnt Flavors – Blueberries)
• Delta Asparagus (Smoked Tea – Spring Onion – Artichoke)
• Gnochetti (Guinea Hen Ragù – Ubriacone – Crouton)
• Branzino (Shellfish Tapioca – Fried Broccoli – Lemon)
• Lamb Neck (Mushroom Leather - Smoked Avocado – Padrón)

This is a 5 course meal, and the cost is $60 excluding tax, tip, an optional wine pairing is an additional $40. The menu is fixed (i.e. no options) so this is not a family style meal.
To prevent any flakers $10 DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED and it'll be refunded back to you after you attended the event. If you cancel within 48 hours of the event your deposit will go toward the site fee. A wait list will be available, but if you add yourself to it, please check back since due to the required deposit, the wait list will not automatically move you to the attend list if a space opens.
Parking: There is a public parking lot 2 blocks south of Allumette on the west side of Echo Park Ave. It costs $.50/hour. After 8 pm, it is free.
