ABBA Tribute Band at Warner Center Park

Join us for the ABBA Tribute Band "Arrival" from Sweden at Warner Center Park !

"Arrival" From Sweden was founded by Vicky Zetterberg in Gothenburg, Sweden and soon became one of the world’s most popular and best selling ABBA show bands. Since 1995, the band has toured over thirty-five countries and appeared on television and radio shows around the world. Arrival From Sweden, as part of the production of The Music of ABBA, tours the world with ABBA’s original musicians. This show is not to be missed!

I saw this band a few years back when they performed at Warner Center - and they were fantastic !

4:30 pm - arrive for a picnic with the group.

We will be close to the center, by the trees. To the left of the white sound booth tent. If you can't find us, as a Security Guard where the Sound Booth is located, then look for the Red Balloons on the left.

Look for red balloons !

5:45 - We will stop holding space on the grass, because there are many people trying to find places to sit.

6:00 pm - the concert starts.

The concert itself is Free.

If you get to the event, and can not find the group: Donna's cell phone is [masked]-5730. Write this down on a piece of paper, and bring it with you. Call or Text if you can't find the group.

What to bring: Either your own picnic items and drinks, or if you want, bring something to share with the group along with serving utensils.

Bring also: A low lawn chair, blanket to sit on, and a jacket, sunscreen and water to drink.

They do have food vendors at the concerts. So you can also purchase food and beverages.

Donna will provide paper plates, napkins, cups and plasticware.

Unfortunately alcohol is not allowed in the park.

But DOGs are.... so please feel free to bring your pooch on a leash. (And water too)

Parking: There is paid parking in the office complex right next to the park on Califa Street. This is the most convienent. The price for parking in the structure is $10. It is very close to the park, and you will only have to carry your potluck items a little way. Additional parking is available on Owensmouth Avenue in either parking structure between Califa and Oxnard.

If anyone knows about free parking, or street parking, please post it in the comments section.

    Hi Jean,

I am so sorry that you couldn't locate the group. It would have been nice to meet you, and introduce you to the other members. It is not the policy of the group to control your personal opinions, and I apologize that I told you to remove your comment. I did not mean to offend you. I'm glad you enjoyed the concert.

Wow ! Fantastic music ! They sounded just like Abba. We had a great turn-out, with many people getting there around 4:30 or 5 pm. About 20 of us stayed together, while other people moved to different locations depending on their seating preferences. Several people brought food and cake to share with the group ! Thank you to those who did, it was so yummy ! They had predicted nearly 10,000 people showing up - but due to the heat, the number was much less. Yes, it was hot but the ice cream and lemonade they sell there hit the spot ! It was a very fun concert !

Jean - I am sorry that you missed us. In a big concert situation like this, I always give out my cell phone number. About 5 people called or texted me once they got to the park so they could locate the group. I am glad you enjoyed the concert, and hope to meet you sometime in the near future.

On one of the hottest days of the year - one of the best summer concerts ever. "Arrival" is an amazing ABBA Tribute band - they have every sound down perfectly - and the variety of songs from the ABBA catalog is amazing - covering the hits and rarities. ABBA is more popular in the USA now than they were in their day! Thank you Donna for organizing another fantastic Warner Center Park concert.

I went to the concert just the Sunday before (Bruce Springsteen Tribute) - and they announced that they expect over 8,000 people for the ABBA Tribute Band. They said "Get here early because it will be a huge crowd". So please arrive as close to 4:30 as you can !
