Darabar Secret Thai Cuisine

This is a place I've been wanting to try for quite some time and I finally went at the spur of the moment. I found this place as having the nicest ambiance of all the Thai restaurants in Thaitown. We did not do family style so I only ate the Boat Noodles and sampled a couple of the apps, so this time we do family style so we can try a lot more of the dishes.

Free wifi, reasonable prices, free parking lot or street parking. Beer/Wine and Full bar. Whoa!!! Bottle service of Johnnie Walker Black or Chivas Regal for $50!!! (Red is $40) Awesome! Live music starts around 9pm. This is a great spot to hang out and chat over dinner and drinks. You'll get maximum enjoyment if you just relax and stay awhile.

Please comment if you are interested in sharing a bottle of scotch when you rsvp... 4 of us shared a fifth of Black Label and it only cost us $16 each including tax and tip. If we could get 6 to share that would only cost $11/person! It was difficult for us to polish it off, but over six hours we finally managed to kill the bottle! LOL

We will be dining Family Style meaning the bill will be shared equally excepting drinks will be paid separately. If you do not wish to dine in this fashion or have food allergies or do not eat meat, please do not sign up for this event. We will dine in tables of SIX.

Figure the cost of the meal to be around $12-20 plus tax and tip so maybe $25-30 total. Please bring cash if possible, but they do accept cc's as well.

Note: The outdated menu prices online are lower than actual. My boat noodles says $6.50 online but is $8.50 now.

Weekends it says there's a DJ after midnight, but I doubt I'll be staying that long...

It was a pleasant evening overall - delicious food, festive atmosphere, flowing spirits, and a group of party people who came to raise the roof.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
