Fu-Ga Izakaya: Friday Eats and Drinks!!!
Fu-Ga is getting a good buzz on Yelp. The word on the street, "Fu-ga is definitely a must try bar/restaurant." Looks like Fu-Ga no longer has Happy Hour on Friday so it's Eats and Drinks!!!
I'll be getting there at 6:PM. You can show up early if you want, or come anytime. It's a Friday Eats and Drinks!!! so we're not on a strict timetable like a dinner.
For hundreds of years, people in Japan have gone to Japanese style taverns called Izakaya as hideaways for the ordinary workers and townspeople on the journey home after a hard day. It was a "stepping stone" to refresh themselves or to decompress by chatting with coworkers over sake and small dishes at affordable prices. Very popular in Japan for both men and women who seek real gourmet food along with good beverages.
The Menu at Fu-Ga includes. Broiled King Crab Legs, Miso Flavored Foil-Baked Scallops, Chile Shrimp Harumaki, Seared Beef Salad, Bacon Wrapped Scallops, Steamed Black Mussels.
And do they have BEEF for all you beef lovers: 21 Day Aged Rib Eye, Skirt Steak, Bistro Tender Steak, and Filet Mignon. Prepared to your taste and served with your choice of Spicy Garlic, Ponzu, or a Soy reduction Sauce. YUM!
...and a lot more Deep Fried, Baked, Stir Fried, Noodles and Specialty rolls.
Sapporo on tap, and a large selection of Shoju and sakes... To wash down all that tasty food.
