Source for Fresh Seafood in SGV ?

Hey all,

I'm looking for a new source for fresh seafood in SGV to use for my own cooking...anyone have a place that sells shellfish, fish and other fresh ingredients? I know there must be TONS around I just dont have the connections yet.

I'm also looking for a place that sells Raw fresh ducks.

Let me know!

As far as I know, all Asian "supermarkets" have a relatively large seafood section where they sell live fish, crab, shrimp, lobsters, goeducks, etc. Try the 99 Ranch Supermarket in Monterey Park or San Gabriel, or the 168 Supermarket in Alhambra.

The best one is in Glendale called Fish King, very fresh. It's been in Glendale for years and extremely well known. - Kristie Bryson

Not really SGV but Fish King in Glendale. I like the seafood selection at Sprouts markets but if you have the cash...just go to Whole Foods!

Last year several of the SGV Asian markets had large lobsters for as low as $3.99/lb. Live Ridgeback shrimp for $3-4/lb, oysters for $.60-.80 each, dungeness crabs for $3-4/lb. 99 Ranch, 168 Market etc.
