Edible Insect Workshop and Volunteer Day

You know you're curious!

This Saturday, we're hosting an edible insect workshop by Robert Nathan Allen, founder of Little Herds. They are an Austin-based nonprofit working with governments, entrepreneurs, farmers, bakers, chefs, and businesses to change the way the other 20 percent of the world views food, and to encourage sustainable farming of this underutilized resource.

Little Herds will also be providing edible insect treats so you can try it for yourself!

There's no better way to connect than with your hands in the soil. So come by our little urban farm and we'll show you around and then make a little magic.

We're working on a variety of projects around the farm, so come out and get your hands dirty and meet some like-minded Food Liberators!

Onward and upward!

Best food is free so far yesterday. We had a great team. Got a lot done. I am very proud of all the hardwork we got done. Can't wait to cook in the outdoor kitchen.
