The practice of Yin Yoga provides the perfect balance to your regular active (yang) yoga practices and your busy life. Focusing on long-held reclined and supported poses combined with breath work and meditation, yin yoga goes beneath the superficial muscles to target connective tissues of the body. This deep practice is gentle, yet intense, helping students not only to open the body, but also to cultivate the ability to observe your mind and body and stay present with sensations.
Please bring two blankets, two blocks (if possible), yoga mat, friends and smiles. All levels are welcome, especially beneficial for non-yoga practitioners.
