Meander at Holt Center

No plant assignments on this one folks. Let's see what we have learned and teach it to some newbies. We will need experience levels starting from zilch on up the line. This park is small but has a diversity of habitats. There is a small man made pond, a stream, wet woods, edges, thickets, and a nice “power line” meadow. We might trip over a few mushrooms and get set on by a few ticks so come prepared for both. Given the biodiversity and knowledge some of these group members are packing this little one mile walk could turn into a couple hours. And please, if you know something, share it with the group.

Sounds great, and the weather is perfect. Unfortunately, I get our of work at 5:30 and it would take me about 30 mins to get there. Hope to finally meet up with this group soon!

    Hi,
I wish I could make this. Unfortunately it is the night of Baltimore Green Works Eco Ball and I need to work the event. I am looking forward to other meetings. Anyone talking about a garlic mustard pull and cook off?

Saying no as I probably cannot make it there by 5 pm on Friday, but I am hopeful, just not sure how much willfulness I can use to leave work early enough. Thank you though, for offering yet another great program; with or without assignments.

Wish we could. Loved the last one. But 5pm on a Friday is tough for us.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
