The Forest Hills Book-Swap September Meetup

  • Sep 18, 2007 · 7:00 PM
  • Munch Cafe

The book for the September meetup is A TREE GROWS IN BROOKLYN, by Betty Smith. We'll be meeting at Munch, a cafe at 71-60 Yellowstone Boulevard, where they have plenty of space for a large-ish group, and a good selection of food and drinks. They also host poetry readings there on two Sundays a month. Please bear in mind that all attendees will be asked to make a small contribution to the cost of keeping this group live on In past meetings this has never run to more than $3.00 ppn. Looking forward to seeing you, Liz

that was my first book group ever, it's fun and rewarding to talk about what you read. everyone was very nice, intelligent and had interesting thoughts.

We had a good discussion, and the other group members made me feel welcome.

The event was so much fun - it was great to be able to discuss a book with my neighbors.
