Salt Creek Trail Bike Ride

Another Friday night bike ride, just a different location.  For a change of pace during the summer we like to go on fun bike rides once in awhile.

We'll meet at Brookfield Woods Forest Preserve and ride west for about 45 minutes before turning around.  The parking lot is just west of the Brookfield Zoo on 31st Street.  The Salt Creek Trail in a paved path with only a few street crossings. We ride at a easy 8-12 mph pace and always make sure we don't lose anyone.

The other members were very nice. I was out of shape, but the ride was good for me.

On this ride we'll head east to check out the newest section of the Salt Creek Trail. This will take us through North Riverside, Riverside, and Lyons with the turn around point being the Chicago Portage National Monument.
