Progressive Dinner Walk

What is a progressive dinner walk? To put it simply we'll be venturing to three new international cafes that walkers have not yet experienced together. We start and end at the Oak Park Conservatory near East Avenue just south of I-290 in Oak Park.

We begin our walk in the late afternoon by making our way to Taste of Brasil in Oak Park where we experience starters/appetizers at a local brazilian cafe to mix and mingle with new and old friends. We then walk a mile to Autre Monde of Berwyn where a Mediterranean patio and farm to table mixologist greets us for a beautiful private patio dinner to share small and large plates. We'll walk another half mile to Freddy's in Cicero, our Italian dessert stop who features a variety of italian ice and gelatos, as well as their house specialty "gelato con brioche." We'll finish our time together by enjoying a sunset walk, returning to the Oak Park Conservatory. It's the perfect way to celebrate the harvest and usher in the beautiful colors of Fall.

You don't want to miss this and there will be no wait list - everyone's welcome!

Great group of die hard foodies :) Thankfully we dodged most of the raindrops. Will have to try Freddy's another time as we ended up back at Taste of Brasil for dessert. Likely to return to Autre Monde for Chef Tasting!

Running a few minutes late. We hope to meet you at the conservatory, if not we'll catch up with you at Taste. Will update as we get closer, if the delay persist.

There's no set cost (you decide how much you'll indulge or sample at each cafe). We do suggest bringing $25-40 cash if you'd like to enjoy an appetizer, drink, small plate, and dessert, which includes 30% for tax and gratuity.
