MEETUP LOCATION CHANGED FOR THE WARMER WEATHER TO OUTDOORS! (see below for details)
Come out and enjoy learning about fitness and nutrition!
This one hour walk is lead by Cheryl Millett, Holistic Nutritionist & Speaker. The walk includes hills, trails and stairs and will begin at 10:00 am. The pace is moderate to brisk.
The goal: Get the heart rate up and talk to others! Please bring water, wear appropriate clothing for the weather. and wear comfortable non slipping footwear.
After 5 years, the group continues to meet up afterward for some social time. Although it is not officially part of the walk club, it sure feels that way.
PLEASE NOTE THAT DURING THE COLD/COOLER MONTHS WE MEET UPSTAIRS (eating area on the 3rd floor of Loblaws). DURING THE WARMER WEATHER WE MEET ON THE CORNER OF THE PARK ACROSS THE STREET (WELLS HILL PARK) BY THE WATER FOUNTAIN.
WE MEET UP AT 9:45 AM AND START WALKING AT 10:00 AM.
