I was married for 17 years (to a woman), have two children, and came out as a gay man nearly three years ago. Looking towards the gay community for support, I discovered that very few men actually share my experience or can relate to my journey. However, I know there are many men out there like me, who are working on personal authenticity, but frustrated with the lack of empathy and support from the community at whole.
In continuing to adapt to a new life as a single gay father, I would love to share stories and experiences from other men who've been faced with similar seismic changes.
This is a social group which hopes to provide friendship and encouragement for men who are faced with questions and challenges surrounding coming out, divorce, fatherhood, dating, sex, and relationships. We also welcome all those who support them.
