What is Toastmasters all about ?

From a humble beginning in 1924 in USA , Toastmasters International has grown to become a Global leader in helping people become more competent and comfortable in front of an audience.
The nonprofit US Based organization now has nearly 260,000 members in over 12,500 clubs in 113 countries, offering a proven – and enjoyable! – way to practice and hone communication and leadership skills.

Briefly Most Toastmasters meetings are composed of approximately 10 to 20 people who meet monthly for an hour or two. Participants practice and learn skills by filling a meeting role, ranging from giving a prepared speech or an impromptu one to serving as timer, evaluator or grammarian.

There is no instructor; instead, each speech and meeting is critiqued by a member in a positive and constructive manner, focusing on what was done right and what could be improved.

As Xmas is round the corner we would like to extend an open house to invite interested parties who are interested to come forward and join in a meeting of fun ‘ fellowship and learning session coupled with xmas refreshments and drinks .

Due to constraints of space and to cater to our existing members as well we can open to the first 20 people who RSVP.
How much does it cost to attend ?
There will be a $5.00 fee payable at the door for those who rsvp and pse let us have your hp and email so that we can make the necessary arrangement and email you guys the agenda for the fun-filled evening.
