    Why are people jumping ship and we have not even had a meeting yet we need to take this meeting to get to know the members and work out how we will move forward and what classes are needed how to get more of the fort myers preppers with us and to help others that want to get into the prepper life but if we just jump ship then there will be nothing and a good prepper will reach out to there community to help them prepperr so lets take this time and think of talking points and when we have the meeting we can go over them and make a game plan preppers are stronger as a network

    Thanks everyone for the positive response!! I do think that we need at least another week to get the word out that we exist, let alone give others a chance to make arrangements. As I am also "indisposed" for this Saturday, Sam, could you make arrangements for the library on Bass road for the following Sat ??? If that works for most of us, we will go ahead and schedule it and have our first "Meetup" as a Reorgnized group. I'll be corresponding with each of you before then,

      Tom, we are all set. I called the library and Saturday, May 25, was available so they switched us to that and we have the room from 2:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. I hope that the new date makes it possible for others (Meredith?) to attend and that representatives from the "satellite" groups will come. Since we have a little breathing room now, does anyone have any suggestions for an agenda?

      Sapper Sam, I'm good with the 25th, I really like Tom's idea for hydro/aero tower info, getting this sub group organized and also, since it is hurricane season, emergency plans and bug out bag info should be one of the upcoming topics for anyone new-or like those of us who've never lived here during a hurricane...

    For an agenda, I think the reorganization is pretty much the topic of discussion. But I do still have a presentation available on growing food in a Hydro / Aero ponics tower. If no one has any objections I will schedule him to come, but if anyone has anything else to offer, just let me know.

    I am good with most Saturdays I have to work one Saturday a month and for the time really what ever is best for everyone I am free all day. And I think is we could make up a flyer and see if we can put them up at the army navy stores that would let a lot of the new preppers know we are here I would but I no longer have a pc and have not got a printer for my laptop

    We need a strong central group to serve as a clearinghouse for information, and to help integrate new folks into local groups.

    Some of us from the outlying areas are willing to help reorganize the Fort Myers group, and develop an association "structure" to help us rightly relate ourselves to each other. Many of us favor membership in multiple groups even if we can't always attend all of the various events or meetings.

    Let's gather this Saturday, May 18, at 2:00 p.m. I reserved the large meeting room at Lakes Regional Library for our use. If each group will send a representative, then together we can develop the nucleus of a new core group. If one of you will indicate attendance then we can broadcast this to all members.

    I liked the central location of the library on Bass Rd, plus it's free, air conditioned and good parking. If we do outside training we can always go to lakes park or another places as needed.

    Dates and times are flexible for me it will vary.
