Join Savor Tonight on Oct. 10th, and gain a new appreciation of oysters during our upcoming oyster tasting at The Oceanaire Seafood Room. Executive Chef Kareem Anguin will take us on an journey to the world of oysters during this tutored tasting. From Pacific Rim Petites to Kumamoto, guests will explore the different species and discover how varied an oyster's flavor profile can be. Guests will become familiar with oyster terminology, learn how oysters are harvested, discover that oysters naturally take on the flavor of where they were grown, known as the oyster's merroir -- and have time for a Q & A with the chef. 6-8 different regions will be featured.
For this event, guests will enjoy sipping on glasses of La Marca prosecco from Veneto, Italy -- a perfect match for oysters, while learning about this natural aphrodisiac. Chef Kareem will also be preparing some sumptuous hors d'oeuvres for the group that are sure to please your palate.
Cost for this event is $22 in advance, or $28 at the door. This event is limited to 20 people, so please purchase your tickets in advance before it sells out.
