We had another great week of dog walking weather! Four new dog walkers joined us on Tuesday as we walked the Fox River Trail from Geneva north for 30 minutes and back. We enjoyed the great views of the river, lovely landscaped backyards and fun conversations. On Saturday we explored Bliss Woods with two new dog walkers that brought their dogs Gilly & Ginger (sisters) and Riley and three return dog walkers with a fluffy Buddy & Leo the friendly giant Mastiff. ALL the dogs had huge smiles as we went down the path and so did the general public as they passed us. There's something magical about walking the dogs as a pack. The dogs have an extra hop and skip in their step!
We hope to see some new and returning faces tomorrow in the spectacular Fabyan Gardens and next Tuesday at Glenwood Forest Preserve along the river. Our next weekend walk is April 22nd at Johnson's Mound. Wear shoes for walking in the grass as well as the paved path that you don't mind getting dirty. Please, NO Flip Flops on the mowed paths at Johnson's Mound.
