RE: [Fox-Valley-Dog-Walking-Club] Virgil Gilman Trail Question

There is a nice parking lot and easy access to the trail right at Orchard & Prairie that if you take it north goes all the way out to Waubonsee Community College.  If you go south on the trail it takes you out to Oswego.

I have been both directions on the trail with out any problems.

Is anyone familiar with the Virgil Gilman Trail? If so, what is best location to meet and start the walk on the trail?  I know that the trail is 12 miles long.
Below is the map of the trail for reference: http://www.kaneforest.com/recreation/trails/maps/virgilGilmanTrail.pdf
