Volunteers: Help is needed before and during the event!

We are also be looking for volunteers to help plan this event on a committee, or to help the day-of: set up, event management, and clean up. Please contact Vanessa Linke if you have questions about volunteering.

I'm sorry that I have to cancel volunteering for this even because I had already made plans for the 18th. If it had remained on the 17th, I would have been able to help out. I do plan on helping out with at some of your other events, soon. I am especially interested in helping out with Founder's Day.

Thanks for letting us know. Would love the help on founders day. We are active from 7 am to about 3. Then again at 6 selling glow items.

Hello, please note the date change on the event. The current weather forecast has influenced us to move the date to Sunday May 18, 2014. The times remain the same.

I started walking with Laureen's group a few weeks a go, so I'll have to help out with something after 9am.

If anyone else is interested in helping with this event, but isn't sure what help is needed, here's a quick idea:

Set up (7am-9am) – Help set up tables and tents for membership & raffle table
Vendor Guides (7am-9am) – Help guide vendors to their assigned spots, perhaps with lugging/tugging, or holding watch as they unload and move their vehicles (tell them where to park, find bathroom, find food)
Distributing flyers (shifts) – hand out flyers with info about the day (and of course plug for Jaycees)
Raffle table (shifts) - need help selling tickets, setting up raffles
Bouncy house (shifts) – We’ll need someone to man the bouncy house to watch the kids
Raffle Drawing (2pm) – drawing winners for raffles, calling winners to let them know to pick up their winnings, hand out winnings
Cleanup (3-4pm) - take down all the tables and tents and general cleanup, help vendors as they are bringing their cars back and loading the vehicles.
