I would love to better my french. I would love to swap stories about Paris, Nice and the south of France.
I like the people most. They are open and direct about many of the things we Americans don't talk about. Where ever we went, we were treated so well. I have relatives that I would love to see again.
I have been to Paris where my wife grew up in Montmartre. I have been in Nice and the south of France twice. We stayed in the castle Carcassonne, the caves at Lascaux and so many other places. France is a wonderfully beautiful country with so much history and technology at the same time. I saw houses built 400 years ago with satellite dishes on the roofs. I would to go again if for nothing else than to see my relatives, to speak it better so we can talk easily. I would love to taste Foie Gras at the roadside stands. Everywhere you go, they celebrate the food.
My whole family were French speakers but I have forgotten most of mine. I have been to France many times and I love the culture, the people, the food and so many other things. A bientot
