Welcome to the Frederick County Photography Club!

Our Group – We are photographers of all skill levels, from beginner to professional.  We teach and learn from each other.  Our emphasis is on SLR photography, but an SLR camera is not required to join our group, as rules of photography apply to ALL cameras.

Our Objective – We want to maintain a membership of dedicated members willing to learn and teach the fundamentals of SLR photography.  We will explore Frederick County and surrounding areas while covering the widest possible range of subjects and techniques for all skill levels of photography.

Our Meetups – We hold random meetups based on member ideas and local events.  We also hold meetups each month focused on learning SLR photography and/or digital image processing.

Our Dues – Dues are $1.00 per month, paid either semi-annually on January 1st / July 1st or annually on January 1st.  New member's dues may be prorated, but MUST be paid within 30 days of joining.  Dues are payable either in cash to an organizer at any meetup event, or via PayPal through the website.  Dues renewals must be paid within 30 days of the due dates, either semi-annually or annually.

All dues collected will be used to maintain the website and fund expenses related to meeting our objective for the membership. 

We ask that you remain committed by participating on the website and attending a minimum of 25 % of scheduled activities in order to benefit from your investment in the group.  This is an active meetup group, not an online forum.  Members with over 4 months of inactivity will be dropped from membership and may not receive a refund of any dues already paid.
