Mid MD/PA Pathfinder Society and Frederick RPG Consortium Message Board › Pathfinder Online Kickstarter
To all Pathfinders,
If you're like me your gaming goes beyond tabletop games like PFS and strays occasionally into electronic games, like MMO RPGs. The Pathfinder Online MMO is in development and in late November launched a new Kickstarter to try to accelerate development of the game. The Kickstarter is now down to FOUR days to go and is 70% funded!
If you only fund $5 and the project gets funded before Monday evening at 9pm, you'll get a single PFS boon chronicle that will give one random permanent benefit to one of your PFS characters. If several players with this boon decide to activate their boons at the same time at the same table, you get more control over what permanent benefit your character will get!
There are many, many levels of funding, but once you get to the $100+ Crowdforger levels the rewards really start to add up, to include a huge pack of pdfs donated by Paizo and many other third party publishers, currently worth over $350 and growing. There's the Emerald Spire Superdungeon, being written by many of the biggest names in the RPG world, not just from Paizo. (These will probably become legal for PFS play along the same lines as modules.) Authors include Jason Bulmahn, Ed Greenwood (creator of the Forgotten Realms, his home campaign), and Frank Mentzer (author of the Temple of Elemental Evil, for us old-timers). Throw in miniatures. A Pathfinder Tales novel set in the game's starter region. Early access to play-test in the beta stage. And much, much more.
I've been a backer since late November and would like to get all this stuff. Most Kickstarters see a big surge right at the end so there's still a good chance this will be successfully funded, but more people will have to get involved. If you weren't aware of this project or hadn't looked at it yet, please give it a look and consider funding, even if it's just at the $5 level! One of your PFS characters will thank you...
