Lunch and Speaker following the Religious Freedom Day March

All are welcome to attend this event, marchers and non-marchers alike.

Lunch will be held in Tru Luv's private room.

Email Albert your food order and mail Pat a check ASAP. We need to know this info to organize this event.

Speaker: U.S. Army Captain Ryan Jean
Topic: “Pro Deo Et Patria?”

“For God and Country?” The U.S. Military's Chaplain Corps routinely receives assistance from volunteer Lay Leaders of various faith groups in order to better support religious Free Exercise; these commonly include groups such as Pagan and Hindu, as there are typically no official Chaplains for them. Captain Jean and others are asking the military to recognize Humanism as a valid faith group and authorize Humanist Lay Leaders to step up and assist the notable minority with no faith. Captain Jean will share his experience as member of a unique group: a Military Officer lacking belief in a higher power.

I was very impressed and very proud of our speaker. Having retired from the Army myself I understand some of his experiences and believe him to be very brave. I wish him the best in his endevores

I have 2 questions. I know where the march starts but where does it stop (not in the best shape here). Also, are we doing signs????

Stops at the monument on Washington Ave. Signs may not say anything but the name of the group. We will have a few signs.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
