Practicing Mindfulness with Origami (with Adam from the Crane Collective)

The Crane Collective teaches people who struggle with meditation, origami as a pathway to mindfulness and community. Our workshops encourage us to breathe through each fold of of the model the same way we breathe through the folds of life, particularly the difficult folds. Participants will be taught how to mindfully create one or many beautiful origami cranes and are then encouraged to give these cranes to a stranger without any thought or expectation of return. This process symbolizes the passing on of our love and intentionality to the community, fostering a sense of connectedness and giving to our world and those we share it with.

Great time. I would suggest to anyone who has any interest in mindfulness or origami.

I enjoyed the session but would have liked to experiment with more variety of shapes.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
