Acu-Yoga uses the body’s natural body weight to place pressure on a particular body region with very gentle stretching. It can ease tension and stress; promote the bodies’ self-curative healing processes, strength, and flexibility; facilitate healing by working with and moving the body’s life force, or chi; and prevent atrophy.

Mindfulness is essentially training our awareness to hold an identified focus, such as focusing on our breathing patterns. 

In these one hour classes we use the power of our intention + focus to trigger regenerative and healing properties in the body and brain, as well as train our awareness through guided movement asanas.

Erika Buenaflor has been teaching Mindfulness Meditation and Acu-Yoga for over 10 years. Miguel Buenaflor teaches mindfulness meditation and mindfulness acu-yoga. He has a knack for tuning into the body’s subtle energies, and using Balanced Movement to keep the body energetically aligned and tone. He has experience using Balanced Movement, acu-yoga, meditation, and energy healing to boost the immune system and heal physical injuries.
